What youโ€™ll do

  • Meet your local guide at the meeting point (location sent after the booking is confirmed)
  • First, you will shop ingredients at San Pedro Market
  • You will tour the market and try some traditional food in Cusco like fruits, cheese, chocolate, and exotic fruits
  • From the market, you will walk to the cooking studio (colonial 30s house)
  • Start the class with making Pisco Sour (and drink it the whole time!)
  • Learn to cook 3 main courses: Ceviche, Causa Limeรฑa, and Quinoa Tamal
  • Make chicha morada, a non-alcoholic beverage from Peru
  • You will also make dessert: picarones
  • Learn about the pink salt of Maras Salt Mines (which you will use for the cooking class)
  • End the cooking class by eating everything you cooked. Come hungry!
  • After the class, the recipes will be sent to you via e-mail so you can try cooking at home!

Availability and hours

This cooking class in Cusco available all week with two different timeslots:

  • Morning: 10 AM – 2 PM
  • Afternoon: 3:30-7:30 PM

This is a small group tour where you will join other travelers (12 per group). Customized and private tours are free to choose any time and date they prefer.
